“ I like to paint about concepts, usually involving people and relationships and the changes in our lives. My work often has a humorous or ironic twist and tells a story. I also love colour and hence the 18 year love affair with silk-painting. I seek to put something positive into the world when I paint- Pollyanna with her “ Glad Game “is a role model. It gives me great joy, when, through my work, I establish a connection with others. I love doing commissioned work as this is also a way of “ connecting” with others and so I become a vehicle for their creativity. I also like to help others realize their creativity through my classes .I cannot imagine life without the satisfaction of “ making” and sharing my work and this experience with others.”
