Jill Edwards
A glass artist for over 25 years Jill has shifted her style to include an exciting and unusual
array of media with which she creates temptingly tactile and enticing colour combinations.
Glass is her first love and still it is her stained glass format that provides a vehicle for
her newfound and some resurrected other loves .Lustred fabrics and beads, antique laces and
delicious yarns all weave their way through the glass. Her photographs of wilderness,wildflowers
and seascapes often are the inspiration for new works and find their way into these enchanting
and intricately layered collages.
